Video Analytics Software Platform

The Eptascape Video Analytics Platform is composed of:

• Server-side Detection Engine software to provide behavioral analysis and event detection from MPEG-7 streams acquired from connected Video Content Analysis units.
• Server-side video content Search Engine software to perform searches on stored XML video annotations based on MPEG-7 attributes of extracted objects. (under development)

Intended for plug-in integration into existing DVR, NVR and camera products as well as video management software, the Video Analytics Software Platform is available for license to video surveillance equipment manufacturers and independent software vendors.

Video Content Analysis Hardware

At the core of Eptascape’s video analytics products is an embedded MPEG-7 real-time encoder that is available for hardware platforms that use Texas Instruments’ DSP processors. Performing key processing for video analysis inside dedicated DSP hardware modules and producing results in an XML network stream, Eptascape can effect unique integrations opportunities that broaden the market for intelligent video analytics camera security.

Specialized DSP Video Content Analysis (VCA) hardware capable of running the Eptascape MPEG-7 encoder are:

Eptavision Intelligent Video Management Software Suite

The Eptavision intelligent video management software is an end-to-end solution that incorporates the video analytics hardware and software products from Eptascape with proven video management software modules provided by A&H Software House and available directly from Eptascape to qualified systems integrators and OEM partners, including customization and localization services.

The Eptavision Intelligent Video Management Software (IVMS) Suite is composed of the Eptascape Video Analytics products fully integrated with:

• Server-side digital video recorder software for storage and reproduction of digital video acquired from network cameras and video encoders, including video obtained from Eptascape VCA units.
• Client-side video Viewer software enables live video viewing from multiple, distributed digital video recorder servers,working with the Eptascape Detection Engine to receive event detection information and provide notification alerts.
• Client-side event viewer software for browsing recorded video based on the event database as created and managed by the Eptascape Detection Engine software.
