Eptavision Intelligent Video Management Software
Core DVR Video Server The Core DVR Video Server is the server-side, core software that enables all media acquisition, recording, storage and retrieval functions on industry-standard hardware platforms and Windows-based servers in an open, fully distributed network environment. With specific features for monitoring system health and fine tuning disk and network utilization, the Core DVR Video Server satisfies the highest standards for efficiency and reliability. The Core DVR Video Server supports network cameras and video encoders from all major manufacturers and any video frame grabbers for analog cameras. Eptascape VCA units are also supported as video sources. The number of video streams supported is virtually unlimited, bound only by hardware and network resources. For large-scale video networks, Eptavision provides security managers and network administrators with powerful tools to efficiently deploy and manage unlimited Core DVR Video Servers across any number of locations. Eptavision offers extensive remote management and resource optimization capabilities, including centralized control of user access capabilities and remote configuration of all video acquisition and recording settings of individual DVR Video Servers. Behavioral Analysis Detection Engine Eptavision includes the Eptascape Behavioral Analysis Detection Engine, transparently integrated with the Core DVR Video Server and functioning as a service. Events that are automatically detected include: Advanced Motion Detection, Abandoned Objects, Loitering, Directional Trespassing, Direction Flow Detection, Object Counting and Average Speed, Objects Removed, and Tailgating. Beyond the core behaviors included, unlimited numbers of behaviors can be defined for each video stream. The number of video streams supported from Eptascape Video Content Analysis units is limited only by hardware and network resources. The ability to detect events in real-time, then tag acquired video with specific detections provides an effective tool for both live video monitors and incident response personnel, as well as for forensic investigators who often need to browse through large amounts of recorded video. Client Software Tools Eptascape’s client tools deliver integrated analytics capabilities that increase productivity by enabling security staff to respond timely to critical breaches and better manage overall security and loss-prevention, and provide fraud and forensic investigators with quick browsing and pinpoint analysis of large amounts of recorded video. A Main Viewer Client can interact with several distributed DVR Video Servers simultaneously, accessing live video streams from connected cameras and video encoders. Events detected by the Behavioral Analysis Detection Engine are reported in live video streams in real-time. Eptascape’s Viewer includes camera tours and programmable video layouts, as well as access through maps. A Recorded Video Client provides viewing functions for recorded video stored in several distributed DVR Server locations. Recorded video can be accessed both sequentially or non-linearly, using detected events and specific behaviors as selection criteria. A specific video export function enables third party organizations such as police or the courts to quickly review video evidence obtained from Eptavision without the requirement for licensed software. Video clips are selected in the DVR Video Server and stored on CD or DVD together with a client Viewer. |
